Today's column in the Chicago Tribune by Eric Zorn "Change of Subject", is the poignant and sometimes angry story of a two-page letter signed by the “proud father of a fallen soldier".
A little more than six weeks ago, his soul a cauldron of grief and rage, Richard Landeck, 56, of Wheaton, IL addressed and mailed his letter to President Bush. He has yet to receive either an acknowledgement or a response. Mr. Landeck asked Eric Zorn if he could "get the word out".
So folks, here is that letter that the President does not consider worthy of either acknowledgement or response.
