Overall it looks as though the protests were peaceful. Their point was made!!

p.s.

I wish I could have sent them warmer temperatures..it was 99 and 95 here over the weekend!

Nice Post and Video!

I saw Jack Boots ready to beat some heads in, but in actuality some of them looked like they wanted to take off their gear and cross the line to hang out WITH the protesters..

Chalk up another one for PTV..

;)

GEF, General Petraeus has said that that military alone can't solve problem in Iraq and that there must be talks between the various militant groups, which is not the line we've been getting from the WH>

Here are two stories, one from the beeb on a good and the other from reuters on an equally good day.

I haven't had time yet to catch up on the news from washington but told Pru', an australian colleague of mine who's involved in the peace movement here in the UK about it and her eyes lit up.

Will also keep Kelley, my american colleague and friend informed.

She hates bush as much as I, we, do.

I forgot to say GEF that both those stories are about Petraeus, who seems relatively sane to me.

Anthony,

Interesting...

However, I have to disagree with you on one point.

I don't hate bush or his WH gang.

I feel very sorry for them because Greed and Power has consumed their souls.

But no, I don't hate them!

Pity is more like it!

Anthony,

If there's a United Front of the American Generals in Iraq then the White House will become Impotent of Power.

Impeachment can do the rest.

However, even with Bush out of the Way, the problem of Iraq being weak is not good for the region as the Saudi's are requesting Nukes in order to counter the Iranian and Syrian threat in the region..

Because of Royal Kissinger Blunders Bush has sealed America's fate in the Middle East.

Why did Kissinger get involved in this war anyway? His track record of failure in Vietnam should have been reason enough for him not to be involved!

Oh yeah, these are the good 'ole boys, aren't they?
