From MSNBC - RAT POISON in PET FOOD?? This is one of the most horrible stories to hit the news recently for those of us with pets. I had a CASE of contaminated food in my house with 6 cans used! Thank heavens we dodged a bullet!!

I feel sorry for those folks who lost their pets to this tragedy!
Just got back from returning every can of sophisticat I had - ended up with FOUR CASES of contaminated food on the recall list.

That's scary all right, good that you caught it. I've been on alert but our cat prefers dry food and we had nothing on the list. Whew.
But this is the first I heard the problem was rat poison, they were saying wheat gluten.
I'm going to check everything again.
