Embattled Attorney General Alberto Gonzales says that he won't resign, but his fate is out of his hands, a New York Times article reveals.

Gonzales acknowledged that "mistakes were made" in his handling of the dismissal of several U.S. Attorneys, a case that has put the nation's chief law enforcement officer in the hot seat.

The Times article reveals that Republicans close to the Bush administration perceive "a growing rift between the White House and the attorney general," Sheryl Gay Stolberg and Jeff Zeleny write.

"Mr. Gonzales has long been a confidant of the president but has aroused the ire of lawmakers of both parties on several issues, including the administration's domestic eavesdropping program," Stolberg and Zeleny continue.

Yes, Prissy, another D.C. sex scandal...where will it end? When they have all been locked up for playing hanky-panky on the taxpayers money?

So...Alberto says it's up to Arbusto as to whether he stays...lol And he says that he wants to stay so he can explain the firings of the 8 attorneys...probably with the help of Abusto (the educator) himself.

Wouldn't it be better to examine the problem, and find out the truth than to attemped an explaination to the sheeple who havent recieved a straight answer since the 20th century.

It's amusing in a way, that that "old boys club" in Congress still hasn't figured out that the POTUS and VPOTUS will throw you under a bus so fast it will make your head spin. And it isn't that they don't like what you've done, it's that you had the stupidity to get caught.

The Administration owes its loyalty only to itself. Anyone and everyone else is 100% expendable. It's amazing the WH Staff STILL has not figured that out.

Bush is "troubled" by the allegations? Bulls*** - Bush is pi**ed that Abu got CAUGHT!

But then again, everyone is getting caught these days.

Hey Geezer & Basheert!

The only explaining to do is to say that Gonzo was an idiot and a Bush boy! LOL

Gonzo who? Yep, he is as good as gone...his feet are dragging on the ground and is on his way under that bus already! LMAO
