Another Day... Another GOP Scandal With Alleged Mafia Ties...

White House Looked Past Alarms on Kerik
Giuliani, Gonzales Pushed DHS Bid Forward

When former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani urged President Bush to make Bernard B. Kerik the next secretary of homeland security, White House aides knew Kerik as the take-charge top cop from Sept. 11, 2001. But it did not take them long to compile an extensive dossier of damaging information about the would-be Cabinet officer.

They learned about questionable financial deals, an ethics violation, allegations of mismanagement and a top deputy prosecuted for corruption. Most disturbing, according to people close to the process, was Kerik's friendship with a businessman who was linked to organized crime. The businessman had told federal authorities that Kerik received gifts, including $165,000 in apartment renovations, from a New Jersey family with alleged Mafia ties.

Hi CJ!

Good to see you! Have a nice Sunday and enjoy your day! ;)

Joseph Bonanno is said to be one of the models for Vito Corleone in Mario Puzo's novel The Godfather, both Bonanno and Corleone wanting their sons to succeed them.

Bonanno and his son subsequently moved to Arizona, where he was at one time sent to jail by the FBI to serve time for various charges during his previous stay in that state.

Looks like these boys were trying to get another evildoer in the WH administration!

Is there no shame in this administration for all the crime and corruption?

A few years ago, Francis Ford Coppola produced a made for TV directors cut of Godfather 1 and 2 charting Michael Corleone's inexorable slide from decency into evil, which was shown on UK TV in the summer of 1983. I think it is superior to the full-length movie versions.

Godfather 3, on the other hand, is a film that in my opnion should never have been made. Al Pacino over the top.

Voltron said...

Susie, I realize I haven't been around long enough for you to know me well, but may I make a critical observation? (in a constructive way of course)

anthony said...

I mean he made a single film out of the two films, cutting the Robert de Niro bits out of Godfather 2 and just keeping to the Michael Corleone story.

clif said...

Dolty boy the only critical observation you have ever made was when you told you momma

"diper full of poopie"

other than that your full of "poopie"

Voltron said...

That's really funny Clif.
I can see why you're the life of any party.

clif said...

Glad you liked it son, now about critical observations they involves things called facts, which you have shown a certain lack of knowledge about, try learning some not what the opinion page of the wall, Street Journal of idiots like coulterguist, the lying drug addicted gasbag or Bill flying falafel O'Liey spouts off with.

Voltron said...

Well I'll tell you what Clif, If Susie cares to hear my observations then I will tell her and let her decide if I have a point or not OK?

Son your observations over the past year have been, well shall we say;

WRONG

and that's being nice about it son.

Voltron:

You've exceeded your limit for hall passes to the little boys room for one day!

Now what is it?

LOLMAO

S-q be warned dolty boy is one of those re-pubies with a cranial rectal interchangeability issues.

He keeps putting his cranium up his rectum when he "thinks"

Voltron said...

Well Susie, it's just my observation that issuing many new threads per day makes the conversation a little disjointed and harder to follow.

It might be easier if you only posted one new thread per day or so.
Maybe as new points are thought of and brought up they could simply be added to the current thread.

When you get name writers in like Cliff and Lydia, they may not like being rapidly buried and many people may miss their particular thread.

It would also up your comment count if there were fewer threads.

Just trying to be helpful.
Disregard if you wish.

Voltron said...

Maybe have your readers take a vote or express their opinions on it?

clif said...

In other words s-q. your publishing way too much of the truths about the lying gutless re-pubies criminal empire and how they are destroying this country for dolty boy.

He wants less truth and less corruption and incompetence expose every day, it's too hard for him to e-mail GOP central for the daily talking points if there is a lot of disinformation in lots of separate issues to spew daily here.

Poor widdle boy just can't keep up, full diapers and all.

Voltron said...

Not at all Clif.

But as a case in point, I just now noticed I'm 3 threads down.

I'm not saying to limit any "facts" she or her team care to post, just keep 'em all in one thread for awhile.

S-Q said...

Voltron:

Well, Voltron..it's like this...

When the GOP stops handing us the lies, deceit, scandals and corruption on a daily basis...I will consider your observation.

However, for now, as long as we are fighting for TRUTH and JUSTICE and RESTORATION of OUR CONSTITUTION in our country, my Team and I will continue to EXPOSE the corrupt bastards, daily, hourly or if it comes to seconds...that's the way it will be! ;)

Voltron said...

I'm not saying limit the points you're trying to make, just ADD them to the current thread rather than make an entirely new one.

Oh well, just my 2 cents...

S-Q said...

Voltron:

We kind of like the new Headline for each scandal, crime, deceit and lie!

LOLMAO

clif said...

Why keep them in one thread son, can't keep up, trying to run her blog like you USED to try to run lydia's with Tiny the Liar, Gay-dalf, crusty the clown and Goo Goo?

Sucks to be powerless when the truth is revealed don't it son?

Go back to the pink pajama circle jerk romper room where you post a new threat oh about once a week and you get about three or four comments daily since that is your speed son.

BTW s-q, I was told dolty boy's blog sets certain things on your computer you might not want there, just passing along a warning I got about the "circle jerk romper room."

s-q ask Lydia she knows about it.

Voltron said...

Well this is the last I'll say about it, and I really am trying to be helpful...

It seems like you're all stepping on each others toes. You need to learn to work together in a more unified manner.

People may be missing some of the points you're trying to make because they all go by so quickly.

And as I said before a big name writer may not appreciate being buried rapidly.

One cohesive thread would give readers more time to see it and more time to comment on it.

Your comment count would go up and your blog ranking as well.

But since I am politically anyway on the other side, perhaps its best if you don't listen to me...

Voltron said...

Not trying to "run" anything Clif. Just offering some potentially helpful advice.

Susie is a big girl and I'm sure she can decide for herself if what I am saying makes any sense.

And as to MY blog Clif, you are simply passing around a lie. And I've emailed Lydia asking about her support of that lie.

The only thing you're liable to get on my blog is a google/blogger tracking cookie, and you'll get the same on any blogger blog you visit.

S-Q said...

Voltron:

I get around on the blogs and one thing that I have observed is people start complaining when the comments get too lengthy because it takes them too long to get through all of them. It's better to keep the comments count to a minimum and keep topics separate. Some folks like reading certain topics of interest and not necessarily every topic on each blog!

Capice?

JollyRoger said...

Well hello there!

May I make a constructive witticism?

Doltron and the rest of the worshipping wingerbots want us to slow down because Chimpy is their Deity, and all of us are blasphemers. Since they can't have us stoned or burned as witches (yet,) about all they can do is make stupid "suggestions" in a sorry, pathetic attempt to try to lessen the torrent of information on their "Father Failure."

Pay them no mind. I read as much stuff as I have time for, and the more information there is, the better I like it. At least in the reality blogosphere I read many different things-in wingnut world, the talking points are all the same. I could use one comment for every blog they have. It's sad.

Voltron said...

Understood Susie, Thanks for listening and Happy Easter.

clif said...

BTW dolty boy Lydia was not the person who warned me son.

But as for passing on LIES your a master son.

Mike said...

I've said the GOP reminds me of the Mafia before...........only difference the mafia has more honor and integrity.

clif said...

It's harder to spam and derail a lot of threads at the same time. dolty boy and his cohorts did a lot of spamming and derailing discussions last year on Lydia cornell's blog.
With multiple threads he can't do as much damage as fast. Thus his innocent "observation and suggestion".

S-Q said...

Voltron:

P.S.

I'm not necessarily looking for comments count...

I'm looking to take these evildoers out of power!

Have a nice day! ;)

clif said...

Just like his innocent suggestion derailed this thread from the corruption of Rudy Guiliani and his ties to Kerik among others and his inability to recognize corrupt people when they work for him.

dolty boy is a master at derailing threads when he does not like what they say.

S-Q said...

Hi there Jollyroger!

Welcome to my blog! ;)

That is true...they all spew the same crap and it's all lies!

S-Q said...

Hi Mike!

Yep at least the Mafia has honor for their family, unlike these evildoers!

clif said...

Too bad for Giuliani the corruption of his minions and his flip flopping is gonna haunt him in both the primaries and if the re-pubies select him the general election, the ghosts in his closet would get a hell of a lot of attention if he had a (D) after his name by the MSM, but since the corporate owned media is simply the public propaganda ops for the corporate masters of this country Rudy will get the free pass in 2008 Georgie boy got in 2000.

I WORFEUS said...

Damn.

Guess she told him.

clif said...

BTW Kay-in-maine has this on her blog which is germain here;

The reich wingers of our nation are funny, though, because their hypocrisy runs so deep. Rudy Guiliani cheated on his wife (with his current wife) while she & Rudy were still married and living in their mansion in New York. He housed his girlfriend in the mansion so he could have easy access to her while his wife slept. Oh, but Rudy wants everyone to lay off his wife, though. This sounds good to a point and then I remember that she knew full well that Rudy was married when she moved herself into the mansion where Rudy was currently sharing a bed with his wife. That alone right there won’t get me to support her….or him! Of course, Guiliani is pro-abortion and now we know why! Hey, cheating on your woman can result in unwanted pregnancies, so it’s good to have a back up plan (isn’t that right Rudy?). I bet some of the reich wingers in our country will set all this aside and still vote for him. Oh wait, one reich winger is already saying that!

Why anyone would be want Rudy Guiliani to run our nation is beyond me! Yes, he was ‘America’s mayor’ the morning of 9/11/01, but since that time we’ve learned that he’s treated the NYC firefighters terribly to the point that they didn’t invite them to their last meeting and basically gave the families of some of the 9/11 victims the finger. On top of all this, Rudy has Bernie Kerick under his belt to deal with too.

Yep and it's gonna hurt him more than he thinks.. those Mafia ties aren't good for any candidate!

Voltron:

Excellent advise! Please email that to George W. Bush, at 666 Pennsylvania Avenue...will ya?

Thanks!
